Finally, a workshop for adventurous makers who are ready to let loose! In this 2 hour workshop, we’re tossing out the rulebook and pushing the boundaries of what you think you can create with clay. You’ll cut, bend, scrape and maybe even destroy your own work to rebuild it in fresh, unexpected ways. This workshop is all about embracing experimentation, rather than learning specific skills. You’ll be challenged by your own ideas in an open minded environment. Creativity is a personal journey, and everyone evolves at their own pace. You might not end up where you want to be by the end of this workshop, this week, or even this year—but that’s okay! Patience and persistence are the keys to unlocking new levels of creativity. Keep pushing, keep experimenting, and trust that your creative growth will come when the time is right. Prerequisite: you can already successfully make a functional form, either handbuilt or wheel-thrown (no beginners here). Ready to shake things up? Then get into this workshop!
